Notes

All bookings are taken on a Saturday to Saturday basis. However, for the 2009 and 2010 Christmas and New Year periods only we will consider mid-week to mid-week bookings in order to accommodate the festive days falling on or near a weekend.

The above prices are all inclusive of heating, electricity, and bed linen.

An initial supply of coal is provided, sufficient to get the open fire started. Thereafter, we can supply further coal at cost. Alternatively, small bags of coal may be purchased nearby in the village.

Towels are not provided, and you should please bring your own towels with you.

Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement (free of charge). You must ensure that your pet is kept under close control at all times and is not allowed to cause any dirt or damage.

A 20% non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking, with the remaining balance payable 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Payment in full is required at the time of booking if there are less than 6 weeks remaining until the start of your holiday.

We do not charge a booking fee.

In the event of cancellation, payments (other than the deposit) will be refunded only if we are successful in re-letting the week(s) you have booked. It is therefore wise to effect appropriate holiday cancellation insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellation insurance is not included with your booking but your insurance company or insurance broker should be able to assist in arranging this cover.

In order to place a booking, we require a completed Booking Form together with the appropriate payment by cheque.

We regret that, as a small business, we are unable to accept payment by credit or debit card. However, most credit card companies now offer the facility of credit card cheques and you could certainly use one of those to pay for your holiday.

You are advised to contact us in the first instance, either via our on-line Response Form or by phone or e-mail to check on the availability of the dates you require. If you wish to proceed with a booking, we will forward a Booking form by post for completion and return. Please use the links below to contact us.
